When you purchase a product, you always have a legal warranty. When you buy a product you can assume that it is a sound product and that you can use it for its intended purpose. If a product does not function properly, you are entitled to free repair, a new product or a refund. What you can expect from a product depends on the type of product, which is why there is no general legal warranty period in the Netherlands. Within European law, however, there is a fixed warranty period.

• In accordance with European law, we provide a 24-month warranty on our Information Speaker, starting from the date of purchase as stated on the invoice.
• If there is a defect in the product within 6 months of purchase, the burden of proof regarding the soundness of the product lies with us, the seller.

• If there is a defect in the product after 6 months of purchase, the burden of proof regarding the soundness of the product lies with you, the buyer/consumer

NOTE: Please be aware that the Information Speaker is not drop or impact resistant. Fall and impact damage is therefore not covered by the warranty. For more information on the warranty of our products, please refer to our warranty terms and conditions.

It is of course very annoying if a product you bought from us becomes defective or does not function properly (anymore). If so, please contact our customer service department at contact@informationmedicine.org. Our customer service team will advise you what the procedure to follow is. If the product needs to be sent, please do so preferably in the original packaging. Also, always include a copy of the invoice (your proof of purchase) and an accurate description of the complaint.

Information Medicine BV’s warranty applies only to products purchased directly from us or through an authorized reseller. The original invoice serves as proof of warranty.

When a speaker has been purchased second-hand via Marktplaats or another unauthorized seller, the new owner unfortunately cannot claim warranty from Information Medicine BV. Any agreements about defects or faults are in that case covered by the purchase agreement with the seller on Marktplaats. On used speakers purchased directly through Information Medciine or an authorized reseller, we offer 12 months warranty. Here, the original invoice (in your name) serves as proof of warranty.

If you have problems with an Information Speaker that you bought second-hand, defects are outside the warranty, but you may always contact us through our customer service in that case so we can see if we can still provide a solution.
