Speakers

The more natural and purer the information stimulus is, the better the body will absorb it. The body’s cells recognize the harmonics as “the original resonance of the cells” and absorb what they need to restore harmony. The quality of the speaker and of the audio cable are essential components for this form of therapy.

By using the Information Speaker with the supplied audio cable, you are assured of the optimal transfer of this information, in the form of harmonic frequencies and vibrations. You place the speaker with the vibrating side on your body and the tangible vibrations will provide a wholesome experience.

If you do not have an Information Speaker, you can also use another external speaker of good quality (for example JBL, Sonos, Alexa, the Eneby from Ikea or a speaker of equivalent or better quality).

If you connect an external speaker to your device (laptop, PC, tablet, smartphone) with an audio cable, please choose a high-quality cable (e.g., Clicktronic, QED performance or another audio cable of equivalent or better quality). The audio cable ensures more stable transfer of the sound information compared to playing via Bluetooth or WiFi. In case of stuttering during streaming, we strongly recommend playing the sound files using an audio cable instead of wirelessly.

The Information Speaker has been specially developed for sound therapy with harmonic frequencies via this online platform of Information Medicine.

By using the Information Speaker with the supplied audio cable you are assured of the optimal transfer of the information, in the form of audible and tangible harmonic frequencies and vibrations.

The Information Speaker is designed to be placed directly on the body. At the front of the speaker is a movable plate, this is the vibration plate. If you place this vibration plate on your body, the sound waves will vibrate from the speaker throughout your body. Your body works, as it were, like a resonance box that amplifies the tones and allows the palpable vibrations to reach all your body cells and thus provide a beneficial experience. The operation of our harmonic frequencies is therefore not exclusively through your ears. The Information Speaker transmits the healing information through sound frequencies, electromagnetic frequencies and through tactile vibrations.

Adjust volume: You control the volume of the Information Speaker via your device (PC/laptop/tablet/smartphone). It is not necessary or better to turn up the volume. Make sure that the harmonic frequencies can be heard and felt without being annoying or too loud. We recommend setting the volume between 55 and 75 decibels. Limit the volume in young children/young and small animals to a maximum of 60-65 decibels. If desired, you can use a ‘decibel meter’ app on your smartphone to check whether you have set the volume correctly; in that case, hold the decibel meter next to the Information Speaker during the measurement and check the volume for both the high and the low tones.

Note: Some devices automatically limit the playback volume by treating the Information Speaker as a pair of headphones. You can manually adjust this in the settings on your smartphone if desired.

Placement of the Information Speaker: You place the Information Speaker with the vibrating side on the chest, at the level of the thymus (sweatmus). This is about 2 cm below the dimple of the collarbones in your neck. You can also place the Information locally in case of complaints (for example on the knee in case of knee complaints). Preferably with the vibrating plate on bare skin. Please note that the Information Speaker is not drop or impact resistant.

Placement of the Information Speaker in animals: You place the Information Speaker with the vibrating side at the level of the transition from the lumbar vertebrae to the sacrum (a small dimple can often be felt here in the lower back) or locally in case of complaints (for example, in the case of a tendon injury locally on the affected tendon). Please make sure that you fasten/place the Information Speaker safely and securely, as the Information Speaker is not drop or impact resistant. For horses, for example, you can use a thin cotton summer rug/fly rug and sew a pocket (eg cotton washcloth) onto it in which you can put the Information Speaker. For very small animals, we do not recommend using the Information Speaker on the animal for practical reasons. In that case, place the speaker in the room with the animal.

The information Speakers do not have a built-in amplifier. they are so-called passive speakers. This means that you cannot simultaneously connect 2 Information Speakers to the same playback device without an external (mini) amplifier. We have had duo amplifiers developed on a small scale, with which this is possible.

Certainly within the therapeutic setting it has added value to receive the harmonic frequencies via 2 Information Speakers: 1 on the chest and 1 on the abdomen. Or 1 on the chest and the other locally in case of complaints.

The duo amplifiers are not yet for sale via the webshop. Please contact us if you are interested.

If it is not possible to play the sound files via the Information Speaker, you can also use another external speaker of good quality (for example JBL, Sonos, Alexa, Bose, Bowers & Willkins, Marshall, Ketelaar, the Eneby van Ikea or a speaker of equivalent quality or better). When using another speaker, we recommend not placing the speaker directly on the body, but preferably within 1-2 meters.

In case of stuttering during streaming, we strongly recommend playing the sound files using an audio cable instead of wirelessly.

A good quality 3.5mm audio cable is included with the Information Speaker as standard. Plug one end of the cable into the Information Speaker and the other end into your device.

If your device (laptop/PC/tablet/smartphone) does not have a 3.5mm jack audio output, you will have to provide a suitable adapter (coupling piece) yourself.

It is possible to play the sound files through your Sonos speaker(s).

You can also play the sound files by connecting the (Information) Speaker to the USB port of your device. For example, using a USB – 3.5 mm jack adapter (coupler). If you have a mobile USB-DAC (digital-to-analog converter) / Dragonfly you can also connect it to the USB port and connect it with the audio cable.

You can also play the sound files via Bluetooth. If there is insufficient bandwidth for high-quality audio streaming available through your device, this may cause noise or stutter during playback. In that case, we recommend playing the sound files by connecting your device to the speaker with an audio cable.

The Information Speaker does not (yet) have a bluetooth function.

It is possible to play the sound files via Apple Airplay 2 on a HomePod or speaker that is compatible with this. We do not recommend playing the sound through the built-in speakers of the television itself.

You can play the sound files via WiFi. Or if possible by connecting your device to the internet via a network cable. We recommend using a stable internet connection with sufficient capacity for audio streaming (4G/5G). Please bear in mind that audio streaming consumes quite a lot of data if you use your mobile bundle instead of WiFi.

No, we do not recommend this.

The quality of the internal sound card of your laptop/tablet or telephone is usually not good enough for a healing effect. Therefore, we recommend that you play the sound by connecting your device to a good quality external speaker.

Sound is a pressure wave. The sound waves coming from the speaker(s) vibrate throughout the body; the effect is therefore not exclusively via your ears. We do not recommend using headphones as this reduces the absorption of the sounds through the body. The sound file will still work through headphones, but possibly slightly less. Technically, the sound file will still work if you wear muffling earplugs, but the operation may also be less efficient due to loss of recording of the sounds through the ears.

It is not necessary or better to turn up the volume. Make sure the sound is clearly audible, without being annoying or too loud. We recommend setting the volume between 55 and 75 decibels.

Limit the volume to a maximum of 60-65 decibels in young children.

You can possibly download a decibel meter on your smartphone to set the desired volume (between 55 and 75 decibels). In that case, hold the decibel meter next to the Information Speaker during the measurement and check the volume at both the high and low tones.
