Speakers

The more natural and purer the information stimulus is, the better the body will absorb it. The body’s cells recognize the harmonics as “the original resonance of the cells” and absorb what they need to restore harmony. The quality of the speaker and of the audio cable are essential components for this form of therapy.

Using the Information Speaker with included audio cable, you are assured of the optimal transmission of information, in the form of harmonic frequencies and vibrations. You place the handy speaker with the vibrating side on your body and the tangible vibrations provide a beneficial experience.

If it is not possible to play the sound files through the Information Speaker, you can also use another good quality external speaker (for example, JBL, Sonos, Alexa, Bose, Bowers & Willkins, Marshall, Ketelaar, Ikea’s Eneby or a speaker of equivalent quality or better).

If you connect the speaker to your device (laptop, PC, tablet, smartphone) with an audio cable, please choose a good quality cable (e.g. Drivv, Clicktronic, QED performance or another audio cable of equivalent quality or better). The audio cable ensures more stable transfer of the sound information compared to playing via Bluetooth or WiFi. In case of stuttering during streaming, we strongly recommend playing the sound files using an audio cable instead of wirelessly.

The Information Speaker is specifically designed for sound therapy with harmonic frequencies through this online platform of Information Medicine.

Using the Information Speaker with supplied audio cable ensures the optimal transmission of information, in the form of audible and palpable harmonic frequencies and vibrations.

The Information Speaker is designed to be placed directly on the body. On the front of the speaker is a movable plate, this is the vibrating plate. When you place this vibrating plate on your body, the sound waves from the speaker vibrate into your entire body. Your body acts as a sound box, so to speak, amplifying the tones and allowing the perceptible vibrations to reach all your body cells, thus providing a beneficial experience. Thus, the effect of our harmonic frequencies is not exclusively through your ears. The Information Speaker transmits healing information through sound frequencies, electromagnetic frequencies and through tactile vibrations.

Volume setting: You control the volume of the Information Speaker through your device (PC/laptop/tablet/smartphone).It is not necessary or better to turn up the volume loud. Make sure that the harmonic frequencies can be easily heard and felt, without being irritating or sounding too loud. We recommend setting the volume between 55 and 75 decibels. For young children/young and small animals, limit the volume to a maximum of 60-65 decibels. If desired, you can use a “decibel meter” app on your smartphone to check if you have set the volume correctly; in that case, hold the decibel meter next to the Information Speaker during the measurement and check the volume at both the treble and bass levels.

Please note that some devices automatically limit the playback volume by considering the Information Speaker as a headset. You can adjust this manually in the settings on your smartphone if you wish.

Placement of the Information Speaker: You place the Information Speaker with the vibrating side on the chest, at the level of the thymus (thymus). This is about 2 cm below the dimple of the collarbones in your neck. You can also place the Information locally for symptoms (for example, on the knee for knee pain). Preferably with the vibrating plate on bare skin. Please note that the Information Speaker is not drop or impact resistant.

Placement of the Information Speaker in animals: You place the Information Speaker with the vibrating side at the level of the transition from the lumbar vertebrae to the sacrum (often a small dimple can be felt here in the lower back) or locally in case of complaints (e.g. in case of a tendon injury locally on the affected tendon). Please ensure that you attach/place the Information Speaker safely and securely, as the Information Speaker is not drop or impact resistant. For horses, for example, you can use a thin cotton summer rug/fleece blanket and sew a pocket (e.g. cotton washcloth) on top of it where you can put the Information Speaker. With very small animals we do not recommend using the Information Speaker on the animal for practical reasons. In that case, place the speaker in the room with the animal.

Information Speakers do not have a built-in amplifier. They are so-called passive speakers. This means that you cannot simultaneously connect 2 Information Speakers to the same playback device without an external (mini) amplifier. We have had mini amplifiers developed on a small scale that do allow this.

Especially within the therapeutic setting, it has an added value to receive the harmonic frequencies through 2 Information Speakers: 1 on the chest and 1 on the lower abdomen. Or 1 on the chest and the other locally in case of complaints.

The duo amplifiers are available through the webshop.

If it is not possible to play the sound files through the Information Speaker, you can also use another external speaker of good quality (for example JBL, Sonos, Alexa, Bose, Bowers & Willkins, Marshall, Ketelaar, Ikea’s Eneby or a speaker of equivalent quality or better). When using another speaker, we recommend not placing the speaker directly on the body but preferably within 1-2 meters distance.

A good quality 3.5mm jack audio cable is included with the Information Speaker. Plug one end of the cable into the Information Speaker and the other end into your device.

If your device (laptop/PC/tablet/smartphone) does not have a 3.5mm jack audio output, you will need to provide a suitable adapter (connector) yourself.

It is possible to play the sound files through your Sonos speaker(s).

You can also play the sound files by connecting the (Information) Speaker to the USB port of your device. For example by using a USB – 3.5 mm jack adapter (connector). If you have a mobile USB-DAC (digital-analog converter)/Dragonfly, you can also connect it to the USB port and connect it with the audio cable.

You can also play audio files via Bluetooth. If insufficient bandwidth for high-quality audio streaming is available through your device, this may cause noise or hiccups during playback. In that case, we recommend playing the sound files by connecting your device to the speaker with an audio cable.

The Information Speaker does not have bluetooth functionality (yet).

It is possible to play the sound files via Apple Airplay 2 on a HomePod or speaker compatible with it. We do not recommend playing the sound through the built-in speakers of the television itself.

Wifi

You can play the sound files via WiFi. Or if possible by connecting your device to the Internet via a network cable. We recommend using a stable Internet connection with sufficient capacity for audio streaming (4G/5G). Please keep in mind that you consume quite a lot of data when audio streaming, if you use your mobile bundle instead of WiFi.

No, we do not recommend this.

The quality of your laptop/tablet or phone’s internal sound card is usually not good enough for a healing effect. Therefore, we recommend playing the sound by connecting your device to a good quality external speaker.

Sound is a pressure wave. The sound waves coming from the speaker(s) vibrate throughout the body. The effect is therefore not exclusively through your ears. We do not recommend using headphones as this reduces the absorption of the sounds through the body. The sound file will still work through headphones, but possibly slightly less. Technically, the sound file will still work if you wear muffling earplugs, but it may also be less efficient due to loss of recording of the sounds through the ears.

It is not necessary or better to turn up the volume very loudly. Make sure the sound is clearly audible, without being annoying or too loud. We recommend setting the volume between 55 and 75 decibels.

Limit the volume to a maximum of 60-65 decibels in young children.

You can optionally download a decibel meter on your smartphone to set the desired volume (between 55 and 75 decibels). In that case, hold the decibel meter next to the Information Speaker during the measurement and check the volume at both the treble and bass levels.
