Sound enters your ear canal as a vibration through the air, these vibrations are passed on to the eardrum and the ossicles (the middle ear), from there it goes to the cochlea. The cochlea is a coiled tube of fluid where thousands of cilia transmit the vibrations to the auditory nerve. The nerve transmits the signal to the brain, where the sound is processed.
Energetic layer: in traditional Eastern medicine, the ears are energetically connected with the kidney energy, the element water and with the small intestine meridian.
Personal layer: in traditional Indian medicine, the ears are connected to the fifth chakra. With this chakra belongs the theme of responding to ourselves and others, expressing yourself.
