Sleep

This sound file contains the balancing frequencies that are related to sleep regulation, sleeping better and deeper and it helps the body to recover during sleep.

A good night’s sleep is essential for your health and vitality, for your energy level and your productivity during the day. Sleep is not just about the quantity of sleep (how many hours you sleep per night) but also your sleep quality (how effective is your sleep). Good sleep means that your brain and body (in all three layers: body, mind and spirit) are given the time and opportunity to cleanse and recover. A good night’s sleep helps to process the emotions of the day and to remember what you have learned during the day.

Sleeping and sleep problems can have endless causes, it is therefore important to look for the cause. These can be, for example, physical or mental-emotional complaints, but also (lack of) physical activity or old age. Dementia, for instance, can lead to a disturbance in the sleep and wake rhythm with animals going ‘wandering’ in the night.

Sufficient deep sleep is important. The REM stage is essential for the body to recover and unwind. Animals that do not get enough REM sleep for a longer period of time can develop all kinds of complaints such as behavioral changes, but also all kinds of physical disorders such as a lowered immune system.

Causes of sleep deprivation can be stress, pain, trauma, not having a nice place to lie down, an incorrect group composition and a low position in the ‘pecking order’. Ultimately, prolonged sleep deprivation can even lead to narcolepsy.

According to traditional Eastern medicine, there is disharmony with the natural rhythm of nature in case of a sleeping disorder. Everything in nature lives in sync with the movements of the sun and the earth In the case of sleeping problems, there is insufficient balance between yin (rest, relaxation) and yang (activity, movement). Many meridians can be involved in sleep problems: e.g., the spleen meridian (worrying, having trouble falling asleep), kidney meridian (anxiety), the triple heater meridian (inner balance, fatigue, depression), the liver meridian (frustration, disturbed biorhythm) and the lung meridian (sadness and mourning). Based on the organ clock you can see which energetic organ system is involved (based on the time the animal wakes up / lies down at night). You can then combine the playing of the Sleep sound file with the relevant energetic organ.

This sound file can be combined well with, for example, the sound files Middle Warmer, Stress, Depression, Grounding & Relaxation and possibly one of the energetic organs described above.
