This sound file contains the balancing frequencies related to the vagus nerve and microbiome, their associated functions, emotions, chakras, meridians and other energy systems.
The intestines, like the brain, have their own nervous system that controls many bodily processes. The gut and more specifically the microbiome is also called the second brain, or maybe it’s even the first brain. The brain is connected to the gut by the body’s longest cranial nerve, the vagus nerve. The intestines (gut mucosa) and brain communicate with each other via this nerve. This connection is also called the brain-gut axis. Numerous neurotransmitters and hormones are produced in the intestines that play an important role in mental health and can influence mood and behavior, among other things. Vice versa, gut health and digestion can be influenced from the brain.
The microbiome protects the body from harmful germs and plays an important role in the digestive process. The functioning of the microbiome is determined by the totality of microbes. A great diversity of bacterial species is more important than the presence of that one specific bacterial species. The composition of the microbiome can change due to, for example, agricultural poisons, the use of medicines such as antibiotics, food with a high content of fat, salt or sugar and also excessive hygiene.
Up to 90% of all disease can be traced back to the gut and microbiome health in some way. Although the microbiome of animals is currently perhaps even less known than the microbiome of humans, we already know that the function is exactly the same and that a disrupted microbiome is at the root of many diseases and disorders. Changes in the composition of the microbiome have been linked to a variety of health problems, diseases and conditions in humans. It is striking that, in both animals and humans, various behavioral disorders (including anxiety, depression, aggression, nervousness and hyperactivity) are often associated with intestinal complaints or food allergies.
The vagus nerve is connected to the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for restoring, repairing, building, resting and calming the stress system. Stress inhibits the activity of the vagus nerve, disrupting communication between the brain and gut. This has negative consequences for intestinal health and digestion, among other things. In addition to a calming, restorative effect, stimulation of the vagus nerve also has an anti-inflammatory effect. It therefore has a beneficial effect on, among other things, the intestines and the microbiome and therefore on overall health in all layers: of body, mind and spirit.
Eric Laarakker: “The vagus nerve ensures the intelligent communication and coordination between the outside world and the symphony of your inner nature. The vagus nerve therefore has a major influence on your self-healing capacity, vitality, resilience, and immunity. I see the vagus nerve as the link between your body, mind & spirit. The vagus nerve is responsible for the transport of light and cosmic information, which is absorbed by the microbiome, or the brain in your gut, through the eyes, with the surrounding yang meridians. The light (Yang force) activates the electron pump in the body, which, among other things, raises negative ions in the body through the acupuncture grounding point Kidney1 under the soles of the feet. This electron pump helps you to ground yourself better and also to drain the harmful positive ions through your kidneys and bladder. That is why it is so important to regularly make contact with the earth (Yin force) with your bare feet”.
From an energetic point of view, the vagus nerve in humans and animals is connected to two important body poles: the dextrorotatory north pole at the level of the thymus on the chest, also the end point of the Kidney Meridian. And the left-hand south pole, which lies below the navel in the center of the abdomen. Energy spirals run from these body poles, which provide a connection with ‘the essence of The All’. The vagus nerve thus plays an important role in the alignment: in which the animal is both well-grounded and in contact with the higher consciousness and its intuition.
Energetically, the vagus nerve in humans and animals is connected to two important body poles:
- The clockwise north pole at the level of the thymus on the chest, also the end point of the Kidney meridian.
- The counterclockwise south pole, which lies below the navel in the center of the abdomen.
Spirals of energy run from these body poles that provide connection with ‘the essence of the All’. The vagus nerve therefore plays an important role in alignment. When an animal is in alignment, it is well grounded and in touch with higher consciousness and its intuition.
