Post Traumatic Dystrophy

This sound file contains the balancing frequencies related to possible conditions and symptoms in Post Traumatic Dystrophy (PTD).

Post traumatic dystrophy, also called complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), is a condition that can occur after injury or surgery to an arm or leg. This condition can involve all tissues. It is an abnormally strong response of the body to injury or surgery. Nerves are damaged, which can cause complaints such as pain, redness and swelling.

The condition usually occurs in a specific body part and can manifest itself in different ways, but usually through pain (which increases with exertion), a swollen body part, difference in body temperature (warm with a warm dystrophy, cold with a cold dystrophy), skin discoloration of the affected body part (red or blue), decreased mobility and pain when touching the skin. In all cases, one of the legs is the affected body part (and not another body part).

This sound file can be combined well with the sound files Regeneration, Pain and Trauma emotional – PTSD or also with the sound file that is appropriate for the affected body part (wrist, foot).
