This sound file contains the balancing frequencies that relate to all parts of the neck and upper back (cervical and thoracic spine) the associated functions and parts involved (muscles, tendons, ligaments, vertebrae, joints bones, etc.), emotions, chakras, meridians, possible disorders (including whiplash, spondylosis and hernia) and symptoms (pain, stiffness, cramp, etc.).
Upper back pain is located between the shoulder blades or can be felt in the rib cage or just below the neck. The pain may radiate to the chest, neck, or arms. Headaches and breathing problems can also be a result of high back pain.
High back pain and neck pain are two different complaints that can be related. The upper vertebrae of the back are in direct connection with the cervical vertebrae. Muscles are also connected to each other, such as the trapezius muscle (m. trapezius) that runs from the back of the head over the shoulder blades to the middle of the back. These connections allow pain in the thoracic spine to radiate to the neck. Conversely, chronic neck pain can cause you to put stress on the muscles in your upper back, leading to upper back pain as well. Conversely, chronic neck pain can cause muscles in the upper back to be incorrectly loaded, leading to upper back pain as well.
Pain in the neck and upper back area can have various causes. For example, a muscle strain as a result of an unexpected movement or pain as a result of a prolonged incorrect posture (e.g. at work or while sleeping). Overload, tension, stress, fatigue, infections, wear and tear, irritation or, for example, physical trauma can also cause complaints in the neck and thorax area.
In exceptional cases, high back pain is a symptom of another condition. For example, upper back pain can be caused by bruised or broken ribs, costochondritis (a painful inflammation of the cartilage of the ribs) or heart problems.
Energetic layer: in traditional Eastern medicine, the neck and upper back area is energetically connected with the meridian system and especially with the lung energy (neck/shoulders/chest area), kidney energy (bones and joints), gallbladder energy (including tendons and ligaments) and the elements metal and wood.
Personal layer: in traditional Indian medicine, the neck and upper back area is mainly connected with the tirth chakra (stress) fourt chakra (love, compassion, connection) and fifth chakra (communication with yourself and others, being able to express yourself).
This sound file can be combined well with, for example, the sound files Shoulder, Headache, Pain, Regeneration or Inner balance. There is a separate sound file for the entire spine.
