Associated emotions in imbalance: anxiety, nervousness. The kidney is the Yin organ of the water element.
Personal layer: in traditional Indian medicine the kidneys are connected to the first or base chakra, the second or sacral chakra, grounding, willpower, wisdom and the ability to receive cosmic information (fear can block this).
