This file contains the balancing frequencies related to tendons and ligaments in general, the associated functions and parts involved, emotions, chakras, meridians, possible disorders and symptoms such as tears, strains, sprains, infections and inflammations of tendons and ligaments.
Physical layer: The tendons and ligaments of our joints serve to strengthen the body and to be able to move. Together with the bones, muscles and joints, they form the support and musculoskeletal system of humans and animals. Although tendons and ligaments are often used interchangeably in everyday language, they serve very different functions in our bodies. While tendons connect bones to muscles, we need ligaments to support and move our joints.
A tendon is a connection between a muscle and a bone, with which the muscle activity is transferred to the bone. The function of tendons is to bind muscles firmly to the skeleton. While tendons serve as power transmitters, ligaments help stabilize the joints and allow them to move. Ligaments therefore always create a connection between two bones. A ligament (from Latin: ligare – to bind, to connect) is a band of connective tissue around a joint.
Tendon injuries are a common injury in horses. A tendon injury is the result of a tearing of individual tendon fibers. This is usually caused by (long-term) overstraining. It can also be caused by acute trauma. Damaged tendon tissue is replaced by connective tissue in the body. Connective tissue, unlike tendon tissue, is not elastic. The course of a tendon injury can be divided into 4 phases: Acute phase or inflammatory phase (10-21 days), proliferation phase (± 6 weeks), bridging phase/ remodeling phase I (± 3 months) and the remodeling phase (± 3 months). We recommend using sound therapy from the earliest possible stage for a better chance of recovery.
Energetic layer: in traditional Eastern medicine the tendons and ligaments are energetically connected from the meridian system with the liver energy (wood element) and spleen energy (earth element). If the wood element is out of balance, the complaints of tendons and ligaments can possibly be accompanied by fatigue, eye problems, aggression, feeding envy, dominance, pushiness, irritability, excessive wakefulness, or not allowing oneself to rest. In case of imbalance in the element earth, the complaints can be accompanied by digestive problems, heavy tired limbs, water retention, obesity and worring.
This sound file is aimed at supporting tendons and ligaments in general or when the complaints relate to multiple tendons and ligaments (for example, in the case of rheumatic complaints or general stiffness in the body).
This sound file can be combined well with the sound files Regeneration, Trauma physical, Muscles, Joints in general or the file for the joint involved.
Note: The sound files for the individual joints (e.g., shoulder, hip) include the localized tendons and ligaments.
