Metabolic Syndrome – Insulin Resistance – Type II Diabetes

This sound file contains the balancing frequencies related to diabetes type II and metabolic syndrome complaints.

In type II diabetes, body cells have become insensitive to the hormone insulin, as it were. This is the hormone that regulates blood sugar levels. The reason for this is that insulin receptors no longer respond well to the insulin offered. As a result, glucose is less well absorbed into the cells and the blood sugar level can rise. Initially, the body makes extra insulin, but less and less over time. This can lead to type II diabetes, among other things. Symptoms of type II diabetes include drinking a lot and urinating a lot, fatigue, eye complaints, regularly recurring infections, shortness of breath or pain in the legs when walking and poorly healing wounds.

Many people already have various physical complaints before they develop diabetes. These complaints can play a role in the development of chronic metabolic complaints called the metabolic syndrome. This mainly concerns five specific complaints, namely high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity, a large abdominal circumference and/or high blood sugar. The metabolic syndrome increases the risk of type II diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The metabolic syndrome can be caused by a combination of factors such as heredity, age, an unhealthy diet and too little exercise.
